Be Active in Forums – Day 4 WOOGPR
Like leaving comments, most forums allow you to leave a link to your blog that will allow visitors on that forum visit the URL that you provide. It will be another point for the exposure of your blog.
Although you gain credits when you leave any opinion on that forum, it is always nice to leave opinions that is related to the thread that you’ve entered in.
Here are some tips of how to use a forum’s signature to increase your traffic:
1. Make sure that the forum that you are entering allows you to leave your blog’s signature. There are so many sites there that provides a forum page. Most of them allows you to leave your name, URL and email which is very important in interacting on that forum.
Check first if the forum allows you to provide your signature before you leave your opinion on that forum. If the forum doesn’t provide visitor’s signature, you can just leave your Name and your blog’s URL in the bottom of your opinion if the author allows you.
2. Avoid inserting unnecessary links. You will miss a lot of opportunity on exposing your blog to readers if you put some unnecessary links to forums. You’ll not only have a bad impression to readers, your opinion could also be deleted by the admin of the forum.
3. Give importance on that community. Usually you enter forum just to find answers to your problems. And when you have no problems, you don’t have much time to visit forums. Try sharing the issues that you have been solve and start making a community on forums. That could result to having visitors to your blog.
4. Be active on forums. By regularly visiting and posting on threads, chances of increasing your traffic from forum increases. While there are issues happening, there are forums to be visited to provide your solution.

I agree with avoid inserting unnecessary links because our motive of joining a forum is sharing our knowledge.
