How to: Get Blog Visitors Without Inviting Them
Everyday, we expect to increase unique visitors in our blog. Sometimes, we set a goal of how many visitors should your blog get on a daily basis. Then we struggle more on using different blogging communities to invite readers to your blog. If you think that that kind of method on getting unique visitors is good, you’re wrong.
Don’t Invite, Just add them
Inviting visitors to your blog using blogging community sites will waste a lot of time on your blogging time. Most of your invitation were just ignored by community members. It could also result on reporting you as a spammer if you send invitations to anonymous web community member.
Let them do the first move
Being active in blogging communities doesn’t mean that you need to offer every readers your latest or hottest blog post. It’s a good manner to a reader to let them know you first. Just sending a friend request is enough to drive visitors to your blog.
Your goal here is to drive unique visitors to your blog in a long term procedure. It means that your are not driving visitors to your blog instantly. It takes a lot of patience on waiting for the approval of the friend request. The key here is to add a link of your blog to your profile.
That link will serve as a silent invitation on visiting your blog on that member. So you don’t need to send that member another invitation on visiting your blog. Crafting well your profile will play a very important role on driving first time visitors to your blog.
Don’t ask them to dive in your blog, just tease them
You should know by now, why I’m asking you not to send invitations on visiting your blog on blogging community members for it could affect your credibility. Your profile as a member on a blogging community plays a very important role on driving first time readers to your blog using the community.
But, you shouldn’t have to invite them directly to your blog. Teasing them is the most effective way on having them navigate to your blog. In your profile, show them what you can offer on your blog, instead of over introducing your self.
Your profile should say it all!
If you wanted to use blogging community or other social community to drive readers to your blog, you should craft your profile very well.
Avoid over introducing yourself to members. Instead, tell every member on the community who may click on your profile what are the interesting things that you offer to readers on your blog.
Be Confident on your own Product
You can offer a great product to your blog even if you don’t have anything to offer on your readers. And that product is the most viewed item on your blog. That is your originally crafted content! Your content will be the most interesting product that you can offer to your readers.
You should always be proud of what you are writing no matter how small or big the amount of readers you have. If you are confident of what you are saying, people will start to subscribe on your blog. Which gives the most conversions on your effort on writing high quality content that offering freebies products which usually ignored by readers.
Stick on your blog. Not on someone else blog
Your blog is a great place where you can find readers. Look at your comment box! These people are your treasure! Keep them to the most secured place on your blog, your mind. Reward each of them by crafting your best content in what they are saying on the comment.
Reply back on their questions, suggestions, opinions and recommendations. Make each of your commenter feel special by touching them with what is unexpected.

What a great post and some much needed reminders, especially on how valuable your commenters are. It is easy to lose sight of this. It’s easier to visit the blogs of your commenters right after you notice their comment, otherwise it’s too easy to let that slip by.
And I love the title (and content) of this blog post! Who wouldn’t like more visitors without inviting them! Some people go overboard and almgost seem desperate. I really like this approach you suggest! Thanks!
