It is easy to lose sight of this. It's easier to visit the blogs of your commenters right after you notice their comment, otherwise it's too easy to let that slip by. And I love the title (and content) of this blog post! Who wouldn't like more visitors without inviting them! Some people go overboard and almgost seem desperate.
