I discovered that some blog owners are switching on the nofollow switch which kills your backlink. What I haven't come across is How do you know if a blog comment has the nofollow switch on?

Thanks..

Thanks for the advice. I have only been blogging for about four months now and I'm trying very hard to get as many links as I can going to my site. I usually do this by commenting on other blogs in my niche which seems to work fairly well both in terms of links and generating traffic to my site. Craigslist and the other two sites I haven't checked out yet, but I will since you mentioned them.

Is there any way one can find out how many inbound links are coming to your site? My blog is included in Ontoplist and most of the other blogs have stats for inbound and outbound links. I don't, for some reason. Am I missing something?
