@ Desta - And I will suggest to love what you are doing. Because if you love what you do, you don't need to double the energy to do what you need to do.

@huy - Yes, you guessed it right. Avoid sounding too serious in your posts. let it be simple and striking. No problem in cross-checking it again and again. Small grammatical errors do happen. Don't worry much !

@Aswani, Frank, Vikram - Thank you guys! I always do the best post that I can to make sure that you receive the best updates. Take note, best post but not perfect. LOL!

@John - Thank you for sharing your ideas and appraisal for this post.

Regarding on the girl who is obsessed on blogging. I think, that she just found out what she really likes to do. Imagine, she risk earning day job income just for her blogging madness. And the most shocking part is, she is also risking her sleeping hours just to perfect her blog posts. We should wish her more success to her blog on whatever her goal for that blog is.

@Huy - I hope this post could help you.

Guilty. Saw the title and I immediately went to my post that had been lingering in the edit tab for days. The only downside is that when I get it posted inevitably I find flaws. Flaws that weren't there before because I was sure I had double checked it…triple checked it, re-read it over in my head and even read it aloud but somehow they always slip through. If it’s not the grammar and spelling errors to worry about, it's the concern of sounding too serious, too dry and bland.

I love this post and especially love the photo "Perfectionism isn next to... nothing." Like you said many times before, many of us do not have 24 hours a day to work on our blogs, and for those us in that category, perfectionism is just not an option. It only takes a minute to spell check, and I do think people should do that. In blogger it is one of the few tools available (for a good reason--it does not have to be perfect).

I know some bloggers (well one in particular), who is obsessed with making every post perfect. She doesn't even sit down and write in to blogger, but instead does all this extra work and first types all of her blog posts into Word (word processor), so that she can run grammar and punctuation check. I guess I should back that up and first say that she said in a blog post that she keeps a notebook on her night stand to write down ideas as they flood into her head LOL! Of course, she does not work and does not sleep more than a few hours at a time, due to her blogging perfectionism!

What's even more bizarre, is that she does not have google adsense or any ads on her blog! I cannot understand the need to be such a perfectionist, when it comes to blogging!

This I think is probably the best breakdown of effective blogging that I have ever read. I do a lot of reading and most of it just seems like the same information being fed to readers. This was very original and you used your own experiences as a way to help people! I think that's the way more people should learn to write posts instead of just speaking to people. Adding personal opinions and thoughts really will make your posts better and these tips that you gave will definitely enhance anyone's blog!
