Tips: On Blending Popular Topic To Create A Blog Post
Of course, no one wants to create a blog post that no one will read it. While technology is evolving so fast, you should always hold on your grip tight to stay updated for the latest trends and updates.
A blog post is also involved in the evolution. If you are going to stick on your writing style for the next ten years, I’m sure that your blog posts will never make it to be as popular now than tomorrow.
Blogging for search engine is a one way of having a temporary traffic or what they call topical interest. The posts could be popular today but not by tomorrow. The otherwise is blogging on a narrow topic of your choice, which could be a pillar article that could last it’s popularity in the next month/year.
How about combining the two? Adding a popular traffic on the narrow niche of yours.
I’ll now unleash the heavy weight ways on creating a blog post that combines your niche and popular topic.

Filter Popular Topics. Yahoo is a great way of filtering fresh new articles by simply visiting their homepage. There, you’ll see what are the latest news which are the most hottest topic that readers are currently reading.
Yahoo’s Mybloglog is another winner in finding the hottest topic on the web. Simply sign-up an account and log-in on it. There you’ll see the topic tab, click on it. You should be seeing there the most popular topics that readers are reading.
Capture images to personalize your blog post. There is only one rule on being creative capturing image that you want to add in your blog. “There is no rule”. You could add any image that you want in order to give your blog post a personal touch on crafting it. The image could be related to the popular topic or not. It is always up to you, how you will express yourself and your blog.
The only thing that you’ll be needing in order to capture images is a camera. For me, Nokia N70 is enough. It could do the work on capturing great images for your blog.
The blog post on your niche. Crafting your great content will always be the king. Mention less frequently the most popular topics without totally redirecting your readers to the popular topic. You could only set that popular topic as an example. Visit this Problogger post, you could see how topical interest blended to Problogger’s tips on making money online niche.

Sometimes it’s really that simple, isn’t it? I feel a little stupid for not thinking of this myself/earlier, though.

All very true information. For those people that want to add images to their blog quicker, you could always check through Google Images. There’s some good pictures there and people are always sharing photos!
