It is obvious that in improving our Google page rank, link building is the most common way on doing it.

What is one way link?

One way link will works best for this. While exchanging links works on improving a Google page rank, one way link is better because a website only links to your blog and you are not required to link back to them.

one way links Create one way link Day 11 WOOGRP

The procedure of creating a one way link is simple. The first one is to create your ad to free advertising sites like the Craiglist, Adpost and Indocquent. These sites will allow you to link whatever you want without a cost. One way link can improve your blog traffic better than exchanging links.

Commenting, also a one way link

Another way of creating a one way link is to join discussions around your blog’s niche. It’s nice to know that commenting on blogs really increase our ranking. That’s why blogging on a narrow topic will give you better chances of having better status on the blogging community.

How to do a one way link by commenting?

Find a blog that has the same niche to you. Blogs are now scattered to the web. You can now simply search a blog to the big search engines like Google, Yahoo etc. than before.

Giving your point of view will not be wasted if it is in the right place to be. So there is a lot opportunity on improving your Google page rank when you are pro-active on participating in blogging communities and commenting on blogs.

Good thing about commenting is, it will last forever unless it will be deleted by the author or the domain where you left your comment expires. Then the visibility of your blog on a blog will last forever. And the traffic that you can get with this comment will be depending on the performance of the blog that you have commented.

Customize your profile in commenting

A friend of mine suggested that in leaving a comment, you should use the right anchor text in leaving your details such as your name, URL etc. Instead of using your name in the name provided in the comment form that you are trying to comment, use your blog’s name to promote your blog not only to the author but also to his readers.

Show your blog’s brand in commenting to other blogs

Commenting is another way of attracting a potential reader to read your blog. When you leave a comment on a post, make sure that you have read the article before sharing your own point of view. Leaving a one liner comment like “nice post” will make your comment a tiny fish in a big pond. But if you left a comment with useful suggestions, your comment will become a nice portal to your blog.

Effect of one way link to your blog

There are a lot of benefits to your blog if you just build your comments properly. It can improve your blog traffic. The more one way links that you made, the more visibility of your blog will be. The higher your ranking will be, the more traffic that you can generate. And the more traffic that you can generate, the more chances of making money from your blog.

Thanks for the advice. I have only been blogging for about four months now and I’m trying very hard to get as many links as I can going to my site. I usually do this by commenting on other blogs in my niche which seems to work fairly well both in terms of links and generating traffic to my site. Craigslist and the other two sites I haven’t checked out yet, but I will since you mentioned them.

Is there any way one can find out how many inbound links are coming to your site? My blog is included in Ontoplist and most of the other blogs have stats for inbound and outbound links. I don’t, for some reason. Am I missing something?

I discovered that some blog owners are switching on the nofollow switch which kills your backlink. What I haven’t come across is How do you know if a blog comment has the nofollow switch on?

Thanks..
